The Muncie CS8S-M6509-P3IX or CS8SM6509P3IX is a CS8 Series 8-bolt clutch shift power take-off designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges cover SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 patterns and rotate to allow maximum clearance in tight installations. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange configurations for flexible pump drive setups. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged, and an optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
