The Muncie CS8S-U6003-A1B5 or CS8SU6003A1B5 is a CS8 Series Power Take-Off unit featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift configuration. It covers a broad range of automatic and manual transmission applications, including Allison 1000/2000 series transmissions, through 19 available transmission input gear combinations. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and the flanges rotate to give maximum pump clearance. Three remote mount output shaft options in keyed and flange types add flexibility for remote pump drive setups. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator is available to allow a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
