The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6003-E1BD or CS8SU6003E1BD, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges conform to S.A.E. "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and the flanges rotate to give maximum clearance for pump positioning. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types for flexible pump drive configurations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation whenever the unit is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
