The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6004-S1BX or CS8SU6004S1BX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed for compatibility with Allison 1000/2000 series automatics and a wide range of manual transmissions. Six transmission input gears cover most popular applications, while three remote mount output shaft options in keyed and flange types give flexibility for remote pump drives. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and the rotatable flange design lets you position the pump for maximum clearance in tight engine bays. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is off. An optional pulse generator is available for System Protection Device shaft-speed monitoring.
