The Muncie CS8S-U6809-S1BX or CS8SU6809S1BX is an 8-bolt clutch shift power take-off from the CS8 Series product line. It fits a range of Allison 1000/2000 series automatic transmissions as well as many popular manual transmissions, drawing on the CS6/CS8 family's six transmission input gear configurations. The unit supports SAE "A", "B", and "BB" and DIN 5462 direct mount pump flanges, and those flanges are rotatable for maximum pump clearance. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. Three remote mount output shaft options are available in keyed and flange types.
