The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6005-A1BX or CS8SU6005A1BX, is an 8-bolt clutch-shift PTO built for compatibility with Allison 1000/2000 series and many manual transmissions. Nineteen transmission input gear options cover most popular automatic and manual applications. Direct mount pump flanges conform to S.A.E. "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and the flanges rotate to maximize clearance for your pump. Three remote mount output shaft configurations are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive flexibility. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
