The Muncie CS8S-U6809-E3KX or CS8SU6809E3KX is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift design. It accommodates 19 transmission input gear configurations, making it compatible with a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Three remote mount output shaft options - available in keyed and flange types - provide flexibility for remote pump drives. Direct mount pump flanges are rotatable to maximize clearance, and fit SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pump patterns. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents unintended shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator is available for System Protection Device shaft speed monitoring.
