The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6806-E1VX or CS8SU6806E1VX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges are rotatable to maximize clearance, and the unit accepts SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pump configurations. Three remote mount output shaft options cover both keyed and flange types for versatile pump drive installations. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator is available to allow a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
