The Muncie CS8S-U6806-P1CX or CS8SU6806P1CX is a CS8 Series 8-bolt clutch shift power take-off built to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" standards as well as DIN 5462, and the flanges rotate to give the pump maximum clearance in tight engine bays. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types for added versatility with remote pump drives. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
