The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6806-P1ZX or CS8SU6806P1ZX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump options cover S.A.E. "A", "B", and "BB" flanges as well as DIN 5462, and the flanges rotate to give maximum clearance when positioning a pump. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange configurations for versatility in remote pump drive setups. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position, and an optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
