The Muncie CS8 Series power take-off, part number CS8S-U6807-P1ZX or CS8SU6807P1ZX, is an 8-bolt clutch-shift PTO designed for broad transmission compatibility across popular automatic and manual units, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" and DIN 5462 standards, and all direct mount flanges rotate to give maximum clearance when positioning the pump. Three remote mount output shaft options cover both keyed and flange configurations for flexible pump drive setups. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position, and an optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor shaft speed.
