The Muncie CS8S-U6807-A1SX (also referenced as CS8SU6807A1SX) is a CS8 Series 8-bolt clutch-shift power take-off designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. It offers three remote-mount output shafts in keyed and flange types, giving flexibility for remote pump drive installations. Direct-mount pump flanges cover SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 bolt patterns, and the flanges rotate to allow maximum clearance during pump positioning. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator supports shaft-speed monitoring through a System Protection Device.
