The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-M6509-A1SX or CS8SM6509A1SX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO unit from Muncie's CS6/CS8 Series. It accepts 19 transmission input gear configurations, covering most popular automatic and manual transmissions including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump options include SAE "A", "B", and "BB" flanges plus DIN 5462, all with rotatable flanges so the pump can be positioned for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shaft options are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive flexibility. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device shaft speed monitoring.
