The Muncie CS8S-U6809-A4BX or CS8SU6809A4BX is a CS8 Series power take-off unit, clutch-shift engagement with an 8-bolt configuration. It fits most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series, through 19 transmission input gear options across the CS8 platform. Direct mount pump flanges conform to S.A.E. "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and the flanges rotate to give maximum pump clearance. Three remote mount output shaft styles - keyed and flange types - accommodate a wide range of auxiliary pump drives.
