The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6809-H3KD or CS8SU6809H3KD, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. It offers three remote mount output shaft options in keyed and flange types for versatile pump drive configurations. Direct mount pump flanges are rotatable to allow maximum clearance when positioning SAE "A", "B", and "BB" or DIN 5462 pumps. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the unit is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
