The Muncie CS8S-U6809-P1B5 or CS8SU6809P1B5 is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift design. It covers a wide range of automatic and manual transmission applications, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drives. Direct mount pump flanges accept SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 patterns, and the flanges rotate to position the pump for maximum clearance. Muncie's patented drag brake holds the output shaft stationary when the PTO is off. An optional pulse generator supports shaft speed monitoring via a System Protection Device.
