The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6809-P3EX or CS8SU6809P3EX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and the rotatable flange design lets you position the pump for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shaft options cover both keyed and flange types for versatility in remote pump drive applications. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position, and an optional pulse generator is available to let the System Protection Device monitor PTO shaft speed.
