The Muncie CS8S-U6809-A12X or CS8SU6809A12X is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift design. It accommodates 19 transmission input gear configurations, covering most popular automatic and manual transmissions including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges conform to S.A.E. "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and the flanges rotate to allow maximum clearance when positioning a pump. Three remote mount output shaft options are available in keyed and flange types. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged.
