The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6809-P3PX or CS8SU6809P3PX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges are rotatable for maximum clearance and accommodate SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pump configurations. Three remote mount output shaft options in keyed and flange types add versatility for remote pump drive setups. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator is available to allow a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
