The Muncie CS8S-U6812-A1EX or CS8SU6812A1EX is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO from the CS8 Series, designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 Series. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types for flexibility in remote pump drive applications. Direct mount pump flanges are rotatable for maximum clearance and support SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pump interfaces. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
