The Muncie CS8S-U6812-A1KX or CS8SU6812A1KX is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift design. It accommodates 19 transmission input gear configurations, making it compatible with a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions including Allison 1000/2000 series. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types for versatility in remote pump drive applications. Direct mount pump options include S.A.E. "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 flanges, all with rotatable direct mount flanges so the pump can be positioned for maximum clearance. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
