The Muncie CS8S-U6812-A3CX or CS8SU6812A3CX is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift design. It accommodates 19 transmission input gear configurations, making it compatible with most popular automatic and manual transmissions including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and all direct mount flanges are rotatable for maximum pump clearance. Three remote mount output shaft options cover both keyed and flange types for flexibility in pump drive installations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator is available for use with a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
