The Muncie CS8S-U6812-A1PX (also referenced as CS8SU6812A1PX) is a CS8 Series 8-bolt clutch shift power take-off. It accepts 19 transmission input gear options, making it compatible with a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges are available in SAE "A", "B", and "BB" configurations as well as DIN 5462, and those flanges rotate to give maximum clearance around the pump. Three remote mount output shaft styles are offered in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive flexibility. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents output shaft rotation whenever the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator is available to let a System Protection Device monitor shaft speed.
