The Muncie CS8S-U6812-A1ZX or CS8SU6812A1ZX is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift design. It accommodates 19 transmission input gear configurations to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 series. Three remote mount output shaft options are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive applications. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and the flanges rotate to allow maximum clearance when positioning the pump. A patented Muncie drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the "OFF" position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
