The Muncie CS8S-U6812-E1CX or CS8SU6812E1CX is an 8-bolt clutch shift power take-off from Muncie's CS8 Series. It accommodates 19 transmission input gear combinations, covering most popular automatic and manual transmissions including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump options include SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 flanges, and all direct mount flanges are rotatable so the pump can be positioned for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shaft styles are available in keyed and flange types for versatile pump drive configurations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
