The Muncie SH8S-U6812-A3EX (also referenced as SH8SU6812A3EX) is an air shift power take-off from Muncie's SH Series, designed to fill the performance range between the TG and 82 Series for high torque applications. It mounts via an 8-bolt cast iron housing and uses an integral air shift mechanism with no exposed air cylinder. Seventeen input gear sets cover most popular transmission mounting configurations, and 12 output shaft options accommodate the most common hydraulic pump types. Five available speed ratios let you match PTO output to application requirements, with intermittent torque ratings up to 400 lb.ft. (542 Nm) at the lower speed ratios.
