The Muncie SS66 Split Shaft PTO, part number SS66-U2X3-E00XXX or SS66U2X3E00XXX, mounts in the main vehicle driveline and provides two 6-bolt PTO apertures where the transmission has none or where space restricts access to a second opening. When engaged, the main driveshaft disconnects from the rear axle, routing power to auxiliary equipment. The SS66 is also deployable behind a single PTO to multiply output options. Through-shaft flanges accept Spicer 1410 and 1500/1510 series connections. Maximum thru-shaft torque is rated at 2,900 lb-ft for the series. Engagement is via air-shift or heavy-duty push/pull cable.
