Muncie TG6 Series PTO Units
The Muncie TG6 is the SAE 6-bolt version of Muncie's TG Series triple gear PTO. Muncie designed the TG Series so one model can move to a different transmission by changing only one gear, and change speed by changing two gears. For 8-bolt PTO openings, see the Muncie TG8 Series.
TG Series features
- SAE 6-bolt mountings: standard, with dowel pins, metric studs, non-standard, and less stud kit.
- Transmission gears are listed for Allison, Aisin, Clark, Eaton, Fuller, GMC, Isuzu, Mack, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, New Process, New Venture, Nissan, Tremec/Spicer, Universal and Warner applications.
- Shifters include 12 or 24 volt manual air, 12 or 24 volt electric/air, 12 or 24 volt hydraulic shift, cable, Lectra Shift and E-Hydra.
- Options include pressure lube, a greaseable shaft and a dual terminal indicator.
- Outputs include a 1-1/4 inch round shaft, a 1410 companion flange, SAE A, B and BB pump flanges, and DIN 5462.
Find your exact unit
Start with the full model number on your PTO. A TG model number reads: TG, the mounting (6S is the SAE 6-bolt standard mount), the transmission gear designator such as U60, the speed ratio such as 04, then after the dash the shifter, assembly arrangement, output and special feature. For example, TG6S-U6004-A3RX is a 6-bolt standard mount with the U60 gear, the 04 ratio, 12 volt manual air shift and an SAE A 2-bolt output.
