Chelsea 22P101 or 22-P-101 PTO gasket, listed at one per assembly in the Chelsea PTO 269, 272, 276, 277, 278, 280, 287 and 870 Series parts lists. The factory lists call it a bearing cap gasket in the 276, 277 and 278 Series (item 46) and a plain gasket in the 269 Series (item 6) and the 870 Series (item 4). A gasket in this position seals the joint at the PTO housing, helping keep lubricant in and dirt out, and it is normally renewed whenever the bearing cap comes off so the joint seals fresh on reassembly.
