The Chelsea 272XSAJX-15RK is a 272 Series 6-bolt hot shift power take-off designed for medium-duty truck applications including aerial, construction equipment, towing and recovery, and water trucks. The 272 Series consolidates multiple earlier Chelsea PTO series into one platform, offering up to 300 lb-ft intermittent torque and continuous-duty torque capability. Shift options include pneumatic (air) or hydraulic, with an integral air control valve included. The series supports both direct-mount and driveshaft output configurations, with a Wet-Spline option for extended PTO and pump shaft service life, and a Smart-Start option for high-torque engagement conditions.
