The Chelsea 288GCFJP-M5RZ is a 288 Series Heavy Duty Constant Mesh Power Take-Off built on the 10-bolt mounting platform. This series delivers a continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft, made possible by a ductile iron bearing cap that is 117% stronger than the gray iron cap used on the predecessor 287 Series. An o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and reduces the effects of engine vibration. The round output shaft (1-inch with 1/4-inch key) features a positive stop for driveline outputs, eliminating oil seal damage from shaft couplings. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed requirements. Common markets include snow and ice, vacuum, aerial, and refuse applications.
