The Chelsea 489XQBGX-A3XD is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to bolt directly to manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path and delivers the same torque capacity as the 442 Series, with tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load capacity. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round keyed configuration. Intermittent torque rating for the 489 Series runs 201 to 300 lb-ft.
