The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off, part number 272GCHVP-A3RK or 272GCHVPA3RK, is a 6-bolt hot-shift PTO with a 1-1/4" round output shaft and 5/16" key. It supports both pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement and is rated for continuous torque up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. The Chelsea 272 Series consolidates multiple earlier Chelsea medium-duty PTO series, including the 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271, into a single platform. The series offers nine speed ratios and 18 shift options. Direct-mount configurations are available with optional Wet-Spline technology for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. Driveshaft output configurations include the Smart-Start option for high-torque start-up conditions. Rotatable flanges allow flexible installation orientation.
