The Chelsea 272GCHVP-G3RK (also referenced as 272GCHVPG3RK) is a 272 Series hot shift power take-off with 6-bolt mounting and a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key. It supports pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement with an integral air control valve. Continuous torque rating reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque falls in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. Shaft power is rated at 29 HP (21 kW) at 500 RPM and 57 HP (43 kW) at 1,000 RPM, with output power of 56+ HP (41-50 kW). The Chelsea 272 Series consolidates the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 Series into a single medium-duty hot shift platform. The 272 offers nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options. Driveshaft output configurations include the Smart-Start option, designed for high-torque start-up conditions. Rotatable flanges allow flexible installation.
