The Chelsea 272GCHVP-A3XD is a 6-bolt hot shift power take-off from the Chelsea 272 Series, designed for medium-duty applications in aerial, construction, towing and recovery, and water truck service. Shift type is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air control valve included. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Continuous torque capability for the 272 Series reaches up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque is rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power output is rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmission manufacturers include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM, among others.
