The 272 Series consolidates the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 series into a single medium-duty platform rated for continuous torque up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. Shift options include pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air control valve.
