The Chelsea 272 Series consolidates and replaces earlier Chelsea medium-duty PTO lines including the 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 series. The 272 Series offers nine speed ratios, 18 shift options, and an integral air control valve. Direct-mount configurations include an optional Wet-Spline design for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. Driveshaft output configurations can include the Smart-Start feature for high-torque start-up conditions. Rotatable flanges allow flexible installation positioning.
