The Chelsea 272XSESX-P5RS or 272XSESXP5RS is a 272 Series hot shift power take-off built for medium-duty vocational applications including aerial, towing and recovery, construction equipment, and water trucks. It mounts via a 6-bolt pattern and shifts pneumatically or via PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic). The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key and pressure lubrication. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque is rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Output power exceeds 56 HP (41-50 kW).
