The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489KRARX-A3XK or 489KRARXA3XK, is an air shift PTO designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec applications. The integral 8-bolt cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and uses strong tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
