The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489XAAHX-V3RF or 489XAAHXV3RF is an 8-bolt PTO designed for most manual transmissions, including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque rating runs 201 to 300 lb-ft (301 to 400 Nm), with output power of 46 to 55 HP. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load capacity, and its internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical.
