The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XHAHX-A6XK or 489XHAHXA6XK, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO designed for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture on transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings for greater load-bearing capability compared to needle-bearing designs.
