The Chelsea 890CCFJW-B3CZ or 890CCFJWB3CZ is a hydraulic hot-shift Power Take-Off built for Allison 3000 MD and 4000 HD Series transmissions. The 890 Series positions the pump mounting flange at the rear of the transmission, placing the SAE C output behind the gearbox to free up space between the transmission and the frame rail. A one-piece main shaft eliminates the input splines found in extension-style arrangements, and the clutch sits at the rear of the PTO housing so the gear section tucks in tightly against the transmission. Mounting is 10-bolt; shift is Hydraulic PowerShift. Shaft power is rated at 64 HP at 500 RPM and 128 HP at 1,000 RPM. Continuous-duty torque reaches 670 ft-lb, and wet-spline output technology is built in to reduce wear on the PTO and pump shaft in demanding service.
