The Chelsea 272AGKUP-D5XV or 272AGKUPD5XV is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO assembly from the Chelsea 272 Series, designed for medium-duty applications including towing and recovery, aerial, construction equipment, and water trucks. The 272 Series supports intermittent torque ratings from 201 to 300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) and is available with pneumatic or hydraulic shift. This series consolidates the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 PTOs into a single platform with nine speed ratios and 18 shift options. Output shaft options within the series include round shaft configurations with key drives.
