The Chelsea 272GBHVP-G5XD or 272GBHVPG5XD is a 272 Series 6-bolt medium-duty hot shift power take-off assembly. It mounts via a 6-bolt pattern and delivers continuous torque up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with intermittent torque rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). The output is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Shift operation is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air control valve included. Output power is rated at 56+ HP (41-50 kW), and shaft power measures 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmission manufacturers include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM, among others.
