The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272MAAJP-A5XD or 272MAAJPA5XD, is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO built for medium-duty applications in towing and recovery, aerial, construction, and water truck service. The 272 Series consolidates several earlier Chelsea PTO lines into one platform, offering up to 300 lb-ft of intermittent torque and continuous-duty capability. This series supports both pneumatic and hydraulic shift with an integral air control valve. Output shaft options include round shaft configurations, and direct-mount outputs are available with optional Wet-Spline technology for extended PTO and pump shaft life.
