The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272MAAJP-B3RK or 272MAAJPB3RK, is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO designed for medium-duty applications including towing and recovery, aerial equipment, construction, and water trucks. It mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM platforms. The 1-1/4" round output shaft features a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), and the unit includes an integral air control valve. The 272 Series carries a continuous torque rating up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and an intermittent rating of 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm).
