The Chelsea 272 Series consolidates and supersedes the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 Series medium-duty PTOs into a single, updated platform. The series offers nine speed ratios, eighteen shift options, and a choice of direct-mount or driveshaft outputs. Direct-mount configurations are available with optional Wet-Spline technology for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. Driveshaft output configurations can include the Smart-Start feature for high-torque start-up conditions. Rotatable flanges allow flexible installation orientation.
