The Chelsea 272 Series consolidates and replaces several earlier Chelsea medium-duty hot-shift PTO families, including the 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 Series. The 272 offers nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options within the series. An integral air control valve is included. The direct-mount output options are available with optional Wet-Spline technology for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. Driveshaft output configurations in the 272 Series include the Smart-Start option, which is designed for high-torque start-up conditions.
