The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272NCHVP-B5RE or 272NCHVPB5RE, is a medium-duty hot-shift PTO built on Chelsea's 6-bolt platform. It features a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key and supports both pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement. Continuous torque capacity reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque is rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power output is rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 272 Series consolidates earlier Chelsea medium-duty units into one platform with rotatable flanges and an integral air control valve, serving aerial, construction, towing and recovery, and water truck applications.
