The Chelsea 272NCHVP-K3XD or 272NCHVPK3XD is a 6-bolt, hot-shift power take-off assembly from the Chelsea 272 Series. It features a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key and supports both pneumatic (air) shift and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement. The 272 Series carries a continuous torque rating up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. Output power exceeds 56 HP (41-50 kW). The 272 Series consolidates several earlier Chelsea medium-duty PTO lines and is used in aerial, towing and recovery, construction, and water truck applications across a broad range of transmissions including Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM.
